Survival Game
A mobile survival game with AR implementation to view assets
About
The "Survival Game" is designed in the Tamagotchi style and is played on smartphones. The game was developed using the Unity engine and Vuforia. Vuforia is an augmented reality (AR) platform that enables developers to create AR applications and games by recognizing and tracking images in the real world.
In this game, Vuforia was used to bring 3D assets to life through the camera, allowing players to experience an immersive AR survival game. The game involves players taking care of a virtual character and ensuring their survival by finding food, water, and shelter while avoiding dangerous obstacles. The game's low poly graphics make it engaging and fun to play, while the AR element adds a unique twist to the gameplay experience.
My Work
In the "Survival Game" project, I focused on improving the user interface (UI) by working on the Pause Menu, HUD, and Inventory System. I also implemented a touch control feature, which allowed players to interact with the game environment using the touch screen on their smartphones. My work on the UI involved designing and implementing user-friendly menus and interfaces that were easy to navigate and understand. This helped to improve the overall gameplay experience and made it more engaging for players. The touch control feature added a new level of immersion to the game, allowing players to interact with objects and the environment in a more natural and intuitive way on their smartphones.
